About Alejandra Rondon:
Hello,
My name is Alejandra, but my friends call me Allie. I am a BJJ purple belt and I started practicing BJJ 10 years ago in my freshman year of college. As a full time student at Rutgers, I started my BJJ journey in my alma matter's BJJ club, then taught by other students who were upper belts as well. As the years went on, the club was briefly taken over by Garry Tonon, also a Rutgers graduate.
Due to the nature of my major and minor in college, which was heavy work loaded, I was not able to be very consistent with my BJJ while I was in school, but I went and practiced as much as I could when given the opportunity.
As the years went by, I have been able to meet many people along the way, and develop my own particular style of BJJ that helps me be scrappy as a smaller person, and essentially became a combination of all the styles that I learned from, from all the academies that I have had to pleasure of being part of in my BJJ journey.
