Alec Given

Hello! My name is Alec Given and I am a recent graduate from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indianapolis! I graduated with a degree in the computer graphics technology major with a specialization in animation and minor in themed attraction design. I ABSOLUTELY loved the CGT program! I am aspiring to work in the animation industry and I am eager and determined to learn as much as I can and so excited to see what the future holds!

If I was to describe my personality and who I am as a person in one paragraph I would say that I am a very passionate and dedicated person in everything that I do. I love to help others and I am always looking to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. I am kind, outgoing and very positive towards everyone I come in contact with. I am also a very competitive person, and love a challenge!

During my first semester of my  final year of college I had the opportunity to collaborate with two of fellow classmates to create an animated short film that we call, “Distress.” I was responsible for a majority of the animation, the video editing, and sound design for the project. I also had the opportunity to be an intern for the IUPUI sports department to create promotion graphics, player highlights, motion graphics and in game graphics as well.

I am a recent 2023 graduate from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indianapolis with a degree in Computer Graphics Technology. I majored in animation and minored in themed attraction design.
