 Managing the process of obtaining necessary authorizations or approvals for medical procedures,
treatments, or hospital admissions, often liaising with insurance companies to ensure coverage.
 Filling out pre-op data and ensuring that all necessary information is obtained and recorded in the
patient's medical record.
 Coding patient information and medical records using industry-standard coding systems, such as ICD-10
and CPT, to facilitate billing and insurance claims.
 Analyzing patient data to identify trends and patterns and report findings to healthcare providers to
support clinical decision-making.
