Working as a caregiver has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Each day, I assist clients with their daily activities, such as helping them get dressed, preparing nutritious meals, and ensuring they take their medications on time. I often spend time engaging them in conversation, listening to their stories, and providing companionship, which I believe is just as important as the physical tasks. I also help with light housekeeping duties to maintain a comfortable living environment for them. The relationships I build with my clients make every challenge worthwhile, and I take pride in knowing that I'm making a positive impact on their lives.

Working as a housekeeper at Blue Western Inn  involved keeping living spaces clean and organized, which included tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and changing bed linens. I also managed laundry, ensuring clothes were washed, dried, and neatly folded. On the other hand, my experience as a caregiver at DeSano Assisted Living focused on providing personal support to clients. This role included assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, while also offering companionship and emotional support. Both positions required attention to detail and a compassionate approach, allowing me to contribute positively to people's lives in different ways.

As a high school student set to graduate in May 2025, I’ve been working really hard to prepare for my future career. Balancing my studies with extracurricular activities has taught me valuable time management skills. I often spend late nights studying for exams or collaborating on group projects, which has helped me develop teamwork and communication skills that will be essential in any job. The challenges I face now, like meeting deadlines and managing responsibilities, are shaping me into a more dedicated and resilient individual. I’m excited for what lies ahead and proud of the effort I’m putting in to build a strong foundation for my future career.
