Ajla Cehic

I am a first-generation Bosnian American graduate of Boise State University, where I earned a degree in Social Sciences with a minor in Criminal Justice. My academic background and professional experience have shaped a strong interest in community-focused work at the intersection of criminal justice and healthcare. I have experience in customer service, front-desk operations, and healthcare settings, where I developed strong communication, safety awareness, and client advocacy skills. My time at St. Luke’s strengthened my understanding of healthcare systems, patient interaction, and the importance of compassionate, culturally informed care. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel and SPSS Statistics and bring a deep appreciation for working with diverse populations. I am motivated to contribute to community-based organizations that support justice-involved individuals, promote equitable access to care, and create meaningful, positive outcomes within the communities they serve.

I have worked in a range of professional jobs from information station assistant at St. Lukes working at the front desk, to customer service/ tasking operations at Ulta Beauty. Currently, I am working at St. Lukes again, monitoring and diagnosing heart rhythms. 

I graduated from Boise State University in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in social sciences and a minor in Criminal Justice.
