Ailani Escalante

Hello! My name is Ailani, and I am a college graduate looking for a meaningful workplace with an amazing culture to thrive in. I obtained my Associates in Psychology from Southwestern College and I am currently in the process of obtaining my Bachelor's in Psychology and I plan to further my education to obtain my PsyD. 

I am a very motivated worker, and I am determined to help not only myself strive but also encourage my peers to do the same. I am always ready to help those in need. From a young age I have always prided myself on being an exceptional listener and mentor to those who may be in a rough patch or just need someone to talk to. 

I have worked for various retail companies such as Party City, Target, and Sox Empire. These jobs have given me the experience to work under pressure and with a number of individuals from different backgrounds. It taught me how to work with a team and individually. I have been in charge of handling customer complaints as well as cash handling.

With my current job, I am able to help people that are having their personal dilemmas, but I have found that the insurance field is not for me. While I am a motivated worker, finding leads can be very difficult in this cut-throat field. However, I am grateful for this job for providing me with the experience of talking to people on the phone and through text/email. This job has also given me the ability to work with individuals who may be in a very rough spot in their lives.

I have my High School Diploma and my Associates in Psychology. I am in the process of applying to a college to get my Bachelor's in Psychology.
