Abby Fush

I am a pre-PA student currently completing a degree in Chemistry with a Biology minor, graduating in May 2026. My experience as a medical scribe and volunteer in clinical settings has given me exposure to patient care, documentation, and healthcare teamwork. I am interested in opportunities that allow me to build more hands-on clinical experience, strengthen my understanding of patient-centered care, and continue preparing for a future career as a Physician Assistant.

I have experience working in clinical and healthcare-related environments through my role as a medical scribe and through volunteer work. As a scribe, I supported providers by documenting patient histories, physical exams, medications, and diagnostic information in the EMR while gaining exposure to clinical workflow and patient care. My volunteer experience further strengthened my understanding of teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care in medical settings as I supported front desk staff and nurses. Together, these experiences have helped me build a strong foundation in healthcare and have prepared me to continue gaining hands-on clinical experience as I work toward a future career as a Physician Assistant.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Biology minor at the College of Charleston and plan to graduate in May 2026. My coursework has provided me with a strong foundation in the biological and chemical sciences, while also preparing me for a future career in healthcare on the pre-PA track.
