    We are expanding our HR team at Ingersoll Rand and seek a Senior HR Generalist serve as the primary point of contact for the North America team within the ARO business unit.

    The Senior HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support, project execution, data analytics, and process improvement. The incumbent will oversee and manage HR disciplines including Talent Management, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Payroll Administration, Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Communication, and Change Management. Additionally, the position will manage key HR projects, driving organizational improvements through data analysis, research, project execution, and process enhancements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Function as an HR Manager, providing expert HR guidance to business management teams. Ensure alignment of HR strategies with business objectives and foster a focused factory team structure.
    • Oversee HR processes including Talent Management, Onboarding, Training & Development, and Employee Engagement.
    • Evaluate and enhance HR processes to improve operational efficiency. Implement solutions based on internal and external research and best practices.
    • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and company standards. Address discrepancies promptly.
    • Gather, analyze, and interpret HR data to generate reports and inform management decisions. Align HR action plans with business needs through data-driven insights.
    • Collaborate with management to execute HR plans, policies, and programs aligned with business objectives, including employee relations, talent management, goal alignment, and communications.
    • Enable cultural transformation and change management initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to stakeholders and fostering continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with HR colleagues, legal teams, and value stream leadership to deliver responsive HR solutions and share best practices. Enhance functional KPIs and support organizational performance.
    • Facilitate conflict resolution and addressing employee relations issues, conduct and lead investigations related to workplace policy violations, including harassment, ethics, or discrimination complaints. Ensure a positive workplace environment through effective communication and counseling.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, with at least 5 years of HR Generalist experience in a multinational organization. Master's Degree, SHRM, or PHR preferred.
    • Proficiency in project management with at least 3 years of experience leading project teams through effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Maintains knowledge of employment legislation and ensures business compliance.
    • Strong analytical skills with HR data analytics experience.
    • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in HR technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite.

    Travel and Work Arrangement:

    • This position is a hybrid working arrangement, with up to 20% travel based on manager needs.
    • The position may reside in either Davidson, NC or Mooresville, NC.

    • Change Management: Effectively manage organizational culture through transitions in HR policies, practices, and systems, fostering successful adaptation and alignment with evolving business needs.
