Mathematician (Low Senior)
Title: Mathematician
Summary of the Position: The Mathematician will provide advanced analytical support, focusing on demand forecasting, risk management, and developing statistical models and simulations. The role includes performing data mining for trend analysis, developing predictive models, and conducting risk assessments to support decision-making processes for Electro-Optic Systems. The Mathematician will also collaborate with other team members to integrate statistical analyses into overall project plans and strategies.
Work Location: In and around Crane, Indiana
Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in demand forecasting, risk management, and statistical modeling.
• Extensive experience in developing and applying statistical models and simulations to forecast demand and assess risks.
• Proven ability to conduct data mining and trend analysis to identify patterns and insights that inform decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience in using the AMSAA Reliability Growth Assessment Process or similar reliability models.
• Experience in performing risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies for complex systems.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a related field. In lieu of a degree, 15+ years of relevant experience will be considered.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in AMSAA Reliability Growth Assessment Process or similar models.
• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Certifications:

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification in statistics is desirable.

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret Clearance required.
