    POSITION: Front of House Supervisor

    LOCATION: Boston, MA

    HOURS: Part time, with evenings, weekends & holidays

    COMPENSATION: $23 hourly

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    • This position reports to and supports the Manager on Duty (MOD) in leading either the Food & Beverage (F&B) and/or Usher departments during events as assigned.
    • Seeking someone with strong leadership skills who will problem solve and address issues relating to all Front of House (FOH) operations to ensure a first-rate customer experience.
    • F&B responsibilities: daily cash counting pre- and post-show, troubleshoot and resolve customer and equipment (POS system, kegs, etc) issues during service, assist with product restock, support F&B in-seat delivery, complete post-shift bar checks, assist with line management, help team maximize sales, etc.
    • Usher responsibilities: support Chief Usher and MOD in all FOH and patron concerns during events, complete pre-show venue safety check, set up and distribute all FOH equipment (scanners, Assisted Listening Devices, etc.), troubleshoot ticketing and seating issues, complete daily performance report notes, etc.
    • Complete other tasks as assigned by the MOD

    EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

    Preferred experience & skills:

    • Ability to work collaboratively, proactively, and professionally in high pressure, time sensitive situations
    • Experience in theatre or venue/entertainment front of house management
    • Experience in food & beverage/hospitality environments
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Cash handling experience
    • Ability to stand for hours at a time

    Helpful experience & skills:

    • Knowledge of Square POS system
    • First aid/CPR certified
    • TIPS certified
