    OVERVIEW

    Are you an innovative, analytic, and strategic procurement leader with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations and exceeding supply goals?

    A manufacturing company in northern Davis County, Utah is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative inventory analysis techniques while successfully managing cross-functional relationships and product lines to improve processes and achieve operational excellence.

    • Compensation: Starts at $170K (DOE) + bonus + benefits
    • Location: Northern Davis County, Utah

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Forge and manage vendor programs and relationships, including negotiating terms and evaluating new vendor partnerships.
    • Conduct thorough category reviews with key vendors and senior management, managing vendor performance based on comprehensive assessments.
    • Analyze market and customer trends to develop and implement effective strategies, enhancing profitability and aligning with customer needs.
    • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure seamless supply chain management, contributing to overall company efficiency and success.
    • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to optimize inventory turnover, reduce waste, and improve customer service.
    • Lead and manage the replenishment team, ensuring effective inventory management and meeting target service levels.
    • Develop sourcing strategies to maximize cash flow and minimize inventory, without compromising customer satisfaction.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving measures, actively contributing to the company's financial health.
    • Oversee supplier performance, ensuring high-quality products and services are delivered consistently.
    • Foster strong internal relationships to fully understand and meet procurement needs within the broader supply chain network.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING

    • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and management, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of guiding and influencing direct and indirect teams towards achieving common goals.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts.
    • Agility in navigating fast-paced work environments and adapting to changing timelines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives.
    • Integrity, analytical prowess, and advanced skills in MRP, ERP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
    • Strategic thinking capabilities and a commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
    • Business travel, as needed
