- Oversee and manage tax function for existing and new renewable projects and corporate entities
- Engage in tax modeling and various forms of tax and accounting tasks
- Liaise internally and externally to monitor and implement tax strategies
- Coordinate key tax initiatives within the company
- Review business and tax transactions to advise on efficient structuring
- Participate in global tax initiatives, with a focus on US and Canada
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Manage special projects related to taxation
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field; Masters Degree in Taxation, CPA, or JD/LLM required
- 7-10 years of tax experience with an asset manager, law firm or Big 4 accounting firm required
- Proficient in partnership and international tax law
- Excellent financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel
- Ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
- Experience in project or corporate finance transactions
- Renewable energy background is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
