Pharmacy Interns assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, researching medication information, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records.# Pharmacy Interns work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.# They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
Qualifications:
Education:
# High School diploma or equivalent.# Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy##school program or a graduate of a foreign pharmacy school actively working towards Pharmacist Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,# Minimum age of 18 years old.
Certification / License:
# Registration with Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern with an active license in good standing
# Experience:
# 6 months of work experience in healthcare preferred
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are:
$3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends.# All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
