- Play a key role in defining the requirements, designing, and implementing the CI infrastructure for various in-house software projects of different complexity.
- Research, recommend and drive adaptation of the best practices for CI tools (existing tools and techniques).
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with the software development team to configure the software building and testing platforms.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate various aspects of the CI cycle.
- Participate in the validation of tools used in software development.
- Learn and adopt new tools and techniques to increase performance, automation, and scalability.
- Other projects and duties as necessary and assigned.
- BS/BA degree, ideally in computer science, engineering, or comparable background required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in DevOps required.
- Extensive experience configuring CI/CD tools such a Bamboo, Jenkins, or ADO.
- Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.): Travel 5% domestic
- Expertise using GIT, and configuration of source code repository tools like bitbucket.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with CMake preferred.
- Experience working with Docker / Kubernetes preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office applications including MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
