    Senior Environmental Project Manager - Compliance
    Audubon is currently seeking Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Houston,
    TXOffice.

    As part of the Environmental Services Department, a Senior Project Manager is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of complex projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

    The Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and working with clients to execute projects in a timely manner, within the developed budget, all while exceeding the clients expectations.

    This position reports to the Business Line Vice President.

    The successful Senior Project Manager will provide direction and management support to project teams during the execution of environmental projects.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    :

    Acts as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative. The PM is the face of Audubon to the client.
    Creates, executes and revises project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics.
    Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities.
    Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
    Ensures that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
    Ensures the project team follows the Audubon standards and procedures.
    Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weekly basis.
    Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hr turnaround.
    Responsible for maintaining the resource planning on assigned projects.
    Manages the project budget and schedule.

    Remains completely accessible to client during the life of project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely and appropriately.

    Organizes and directs a Project Management Team of other Project Managers and/or Project Engineers.
    Drives Management of Change philosophy and enforces corresponding procedures.
    Serves as the champion for safety and quality on the project.
    Reviews and provides final Audubon approval to all subcontractors contracts and invoices.
    Manages the overall execution of projects.
    Participates as a contributing member of assigned Functional Group or Execution Center.
    Possess a detailed understanding of the sales / BD process.
    Understands the relationship between multi-discipline deliverable packages - including procurement and construction activities.
    Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
    Effectively utilizes each team member to their fullest potential.
    Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.
    Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members and peers.
    Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
    Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
    Leads and/or acts as a member of internal teams/task forces.
    Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency, and utilization.
    Provide technical guidance and support project deliverables on environmental projects including:

    Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development, Hazardous Material Management, Toxicity Release Inventory (TRI) reporting, Tier II reporting, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting, environmental compliance audits, and air, water and waste permitting.


    EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
    :

    Education Required:

    Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or higher.
    Education/Licensure Preferred:

    BS Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Geosciences, Engineering, or related field, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
    Experience Required:

    Minimum of 7 years of direct environmental project management experience.
    Experience Preferred:

    10 years of experience as the Lead Project Scientist for nationwide compliance & permitting projects, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.

    Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and software.
    Knowledgeable in cost estimating and control.
    Able to speak comfortably in a group setting.
    Understanding of all applicable discipline deliverables.
    Proven leadership skills and willingness to mentor junior staff.
    Understands complex revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
