    *About AvidWater:

    In 2017 two of the largest Ag Irrigation companies came together, Agri-Valley Irrigation, LLC and Irrigation Design and Construction, LLC.

    For the past 6 years we have operated as two entities yet together as one, and now we officially are together as AvidWater.

    The employee generated name comes from a combination of our companies Av- from Agri-Valley and id - from Irrigation Design & Construction.

    *Ag Outside Sales*Outsides Salespeople conduct research, make calls, send emails, update records, attend meetings, and help maintain client relationships. Primary focuses are on developing and learning the sales role and developing customer service skills through partner relationships with customers.


    Responsibilities also include:

    gathering field, crop, water source, utility and customer information as required input into the irrigation design process, as well as producing quotes, bids and/or budgetary estimates.

    Participation in the development of education/training programs currently being offered.

    *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist sales staff to complete project/assignments, formulate material ordered it list, field assessments, design reviews, professional and accurate manner.
    • Assist in presentations of proposals, project updates, invoicing and system operation including filters, valves and controllers as needed.
    • Assist warehouse in pulling and preparing material for repair and projects as needed. Under the direction of Sales and Warehouse staff.
    • Coordinates with Sales Administrator to provide purchasing department and warehouse accurate and timely material requirements, as well as coordinating job site deliveries with proper maps, dates, etc.
    • Ensures a smooth flow of information and follow-up for existing and potential customers by coordinating with sales staff.
    • Assist with crew management to ensure cost-effective job progress and timely completion as per customer promise dates.
    • Ensures foremen construct to AvidWater standards adhering to safety policies, as well as proper recording of all labor time and materials used, including add-ons.
    • Assist Sales Staff to ensures all jobs and sales orders are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner according to the billing policy for deposits, progress and final billings ensuring all costs, add-ons and proper mark-ups have been applied.
    • Completes all required reports and documents as required and associated with performance of job duties and office requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    *Education and/or

    Experience:

    • Four-year college degree in Ag-Business, Agronomics, Crop Science, Marketing, or other related majors and a good background/understanding of agriculture and/or crops.
    • IA Certification's
