Description

Job Title: Spanish Teacher at Gaithersburg High School

Job Description:

Work with Resource Teacher, colleagues, and administration to create and implement creative learning opportunities for a diverse student population.
Teach Spanish 3 and Spanish 5 classes.
Duty day is from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm with monthly after-school department and staff meetings.

Job Requirements:

Plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students.
Supervise students in various school settings and evaluate student outcomes.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community.
Develop instructional plans to meet the needs of all students.
Maintain records and follow required procedures.
Infuse technology into the curriculum and collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications:

Meet Maryland state certification requirements in the education field.
Have a bachelor's degree in education or relevant field from an accredited institution.
Possess industry experience in the discipline to be taught within the last 10 years.
Industry licensures and certifications are a plus.
