    Job Summary:


    As a Sales and Leasing Consultant at Scranton Motors Vernon, you will be responsible for driving sales and assisting customers in finding the perfect vehicle to meet their needs.

    This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry located in Vernon, Connecticut.

    Through your exceptional customer service skills, product knowledge, and sales expertise, you will play a crucial role in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and budget in order to recommend the best vehicle options
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive buying experience for all customers
    • Demonstrate indepth knowledge of our products, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages
    • Conduct test drives to showcase the capabilities of the vehicles to potential customers
    • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve and exceed sales targets
    • Follow up with potential and existing customers to maintain relationships and secure future sales opportunities
    • Utilize various sales techniques, including phone and email communication, prospecting, and networking, to generate leads and grow the customer base
    • Stay uptodate with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions and address any objections
    • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent;
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
    • Solid understanding of the sales process and techniques
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
