    Job Summary

    The Peer Support Recruiter develops and executes recruiting strategies specific to hiring Peer Support Specialists (PSS) for the field of behavioral health AND/OR substance use disorders.

    Peer support specialists are individuals who have lived experience with mental health issues or substance use disorder(s) and also have a minimum of one year of recovery.

    The Peer Support Recruiter will create a "pipeline" of applicants by creating professional relationships with community stakeholders and attending community-based career and hiring events.

    The Peer Support Recruiter will prioritize placement of incoming peer workforce based on staffing needs in conjunction with program leadership/management.

    The Peer Support Recruiter will work closely with CBI marketing initiatives to promote CBI's commitment to the peer employee through in-person, virtual and digital platforms.

    Skills/Requirements
    High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree (or higher) in the field of Human Resources Management, Marketing, Business Administration or Healthcare preferred.
    1-2 years of full cycle recruiting experience preferred.

    Must be in recovery from Alcohol or Drugs and/or GMH for equal to or greater than one (1) consecutive year.

    Experienced in managing applicant databases preferred.
    Experienced in applicant tracking systems preferred.
    Experienced in candidate sourcing solutions preferred.
    Knowledge of applicable computer applications preferred.
