- Work involving the application of engineering skills and practices which includes plan preparation, detail drawing, reports etc. for geotechnical/transportation/bridge design projects.
- Work directly with Designers and Engineers during various phases of a project as assigned.
- Understand and apply engineering principles and practices.
- Produce large scale, complex drawings.
- Manage deadlines and prioritize assignments.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- Associate Degree and/or Civil Engineering Technician Certificate a plus
- 1 or more years AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
- 1 or more years OpenRoads/MicroStation experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
