    Purpose:


    As a critical role in the growth of our pro and commercial business units, the Marketing Manager, Pro & Commercial will develop and implement B2B and retail marketing programs that communicate brand value, increase awareness and familiarity and drive revenue growth with our pro and commercial customers.

    You will serve as a primary point of contact for both the pro and commercial teams across the business, supporting marketing efforts within Floor & Decor locations as well as outside the retail environment, including trade shows, industry conferences and training events.

    You will champion the company's marketing efforts focused on the commercial customer, both large and small, and serve as a subject matter expert regarding the unique wants and needs of the pro and commercial business.


    Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
    5+ years of demonstrated, results-driving experience in formulating and executing B2B and retail marketing activities; strong command over traditional and emerging B2B marketing techniques ranging from brand management to sales enablement to direct marketing to digital 1:1 communications
    Prior experience in the marketing and promotion of consumer loyalty programs
    Familiarity with advertising consumer/professional credit or financing programs and the associated regulatory requirements
    Passion for and working knowledge of live event marketing including trade shows and conference sponsorships
    Familiarity with digital, direct and traditional marketing channels and success metrics.
    Strong track record of successful internal and external relationship management; strong interpersonal skills to build effective, inclusive, and collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams
    Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high growth environment with shifting priorities, limited resources and tight deadlines
    Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and team building skills
    Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented nature to plan, prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously across internal teams and agencies; consistent and effective follow-through
    Demonstrated ability to exceed goals and drive progressive business results through marketing
    Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to proactively challenge and change to maximize output
    Excellent written and verbal communication, persuasion, and presentation skills including ability to create and deliver presentations
    Excellent customer service skills and ability to thrive under pressure
    Excellent analytical skills including experience formulating marketing solutions from sales, customer, and marketing data as well as key performance metrics
    Strong computer skills in MS Office suite with the ability to create clear, concise reports and to interpret, analyze and create presentations
    Must pass pre-employment background check
    Fast-paced, high-growth retail experience is a plus

    Essential Job Functions:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for the pro and commercial teams across the business, representing the capabilities of the entire marketing department
    Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our pro and commercial customers, drivers of behavior and journeys; independently stay up-to-date on market trends and continuously monitor competitor activity, bringing forward recommendations for improvement and growth
    Define and manage the pro and commercial brand messaging and communication strategy using a variety of media, partnering with core brand team to ensure alignment with overall Floor & Decor brand
    Ensure that messaging and marketing activities are aligned with pro and commercial brand and equity points, including always-on and day-in-day-out campaign activities; bring forward messaging and campaign recommendations to achieve pro and commercial goals
    Evaluate company initiatives impacting the pro and commercial brand, marketing, or messaging to provide partner direction for on-brand delivery and a consistent, value-add customer experience
    Proactively develop monthly pro results reporting and provide pro and commercial leadership with updates on marketing department initiatives, results and recommendations on sales driving opportunities, both within the retail organization and beyond
    Support store-level pro initiatives and events, including in-store education events and new store grand openings
    Identify, plan and execute trade show opportunities that cater to the markets served by the pro and commercial sales teams
    Plan, promote and support sponsored Commercial events and programs
    Assist in the planning and execution of company-wide retail promotions targeted to the pro customer
    Serve as subject matter expert in pro loyalty, pro credit and pro mobile app, leading others toward on-brand execution in the design and implementation of supporting marketing programs across all channels
    Identify and champion store and market-specific marketing needs related to the pro business and understand objectives / challenges / opportunities / data to formulate goals and plans of action tailored to the unique needs of individual markets/stores
    Champion pro and commercial throughout the organization, including providing regular business updates, reporting and clearly articulated strategies and needs to the Marketing department
    Lead pro and commercial marketing projects within the marketing department by providing briefs with clear business objectives and well-scoped challenges/opportunities, educating those at all levels to foster an in-depth understanding of the unique characteristics of each business segment and ensuring on-time, on-brand, on-target launches
    Lead inclusive partnerships with key stakeholders within the department (including media, email/1:1, content, creative, brand management, design services, CRM, field, operations, budgeting, and leadership), working with the appropriate subject matter experts to create plans and launch marketing activations to achieve business goals
    Formulate and execute plans to achieve company sales and customer acquisition / retention goals across pro and commercial, including pro penetration and commercial sales growth
    Manage pro and commercial marketing budget, adhering to proper controls to ensure on-target delivery and proper documentation and billing with finance
    Manage agency and vendor partnerships from RFP to onboarding to partnership to offboarding, including providing clear direction and ensuring on-target, on-time goal achievement and continually innovating our programs
    Lead inclusive partnerships with key stakeholders across departments including Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, Legal, Finance, Design Services, Credit and Ecommerce/IT
    Ensure compliance with all appropriate Privacy, Information Security, and Data Governance protocols and laws

    Occasional travel required including air and car travel.
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
    PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

    Sedentary Work – Ability to exert pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

    Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
