    POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:

    As the Americas Warehousing Director, you will be responsible for managing key operational and recruitment tasks in all the US (and Americas) Warehousing and Distribution Centers. This role will have a direct reporting line from the DC Manager(s) Lovisa-owned warehouses as well as any 3PL warehouses in the Americas region. The role will encompass all functions of warehousing and all stock within it - stock, non-stock, e-commerce as well as fixtures and fittings.

    The Americas Warehouse Director will be responsible for "creating a cost-effective global warehouse supply chain that will support the growth of Lovisa stores in the region."

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    The role is strategic in nature and provides leadership to the teams in the Americas region. Its focus falls on 5 main strategic priorities.

    • Use and develop data tools allowing customers to see the flow of stock in WIP.
    • Build World Class B2C Channels - TEAMWORK & CAN DO
      • Establish best-in-class B2C processes within our DCs.
    • Transform & challenge online costs to serve both DCs and transport.
    • Establish DC-driven B2C options to allow service offering excellence.
    • Empower Lean & Visualize the Supply Chain - CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & DO IT NOW
      • Elevate LEAN Boards to ensure service and cost control is visualized.
    • Establish Continuous Improvement on key processes via KPI trees.
    • Introduce LEAN & SMART factory thinking throughout current processes.
    On a Tactical Level, the role will also have oversight on the following.
    • Recruitment:
      • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new team members.
      • This includes refilling vacancies during the year and the buildup for end-of-year peak.
    • Zendesk & Customer Service:
      • Ensure the store teams receive excellent support by managing the DC Zendesk queue promptly.
      • Promote excellence in service culture.
    • Safety Focus:
      • Maintain a well-signed warehouse with clearly designated areas of activity. Ensure such demarcations are adhered to.
      • Ensure that all personnel adhere to safety procedures and policies.
      • Oversee work assignments for new and existing team members. Provide procedural and safety training for warehouse team members with additional emphasis on new team members.
      • Preparation and record documentation for team member accidents and incidents.
    • Maintain professional engagement with internal and external working relationships (refer influence matrix).
    ADMINISTRATION:
    • 'Bridge' between the Logistics/Warehousing teams and the Business (Stores)
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Respond promptly and effectively to all customer and trading partner queries.
    REPORTING LINES
    • DC Manager (Columbus) & Inventory Team Leader reports directly to this role.
    • Any 3PL providers of Warehousing services report indirectly. Includes B2C, Stock, Non-Stock & Fixtures
    • Peers to this role will be OPERATIONS DIRECTORS for APAC (Asia/Oceania) & EMEA (Europe/Africa)
    SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Will be responsible for off-site warehouse and equipment leasing.
    • May be required to step into Warehouse management, tender support & be customer-facing with 3PL and supplier negotiations.
    • Perform additional duties as required.
    EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND WORK AIDS:
    • Microsoft Office suite including MS-Teams, Futura Retail System, Kronos Time Management, Preceda Payroll.
