About the Organization: The Arc Prince George's County serves over 600 individuals with disabilities through various programs, services, and supports. Our main areas of focus are community living, family and personal supports, employment services, and day programs - all emphasizing person-centered community involvement and inclusion.
Position Overview: The Arc is looking for a part-time Community Companion. Responsible for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their home, the Community Companion-Community Integration Specialist helps individuals connect with the community through recreation planning, transportation, and participation in community-based events. Other duties include household maintenance, budget management, shopping, and meal preparation.
