    Regional Human Resources Director - Long Term Care

    Job Summary:

    The Regional Human Resources Director for Long Term Care is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and directing human resources functions across multiple long-term care facilities. This position plays a critical role in aligning HR strategies with the overall business objectives of the organization, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The Regional HR Director collaborates with facility administrators, Business office managers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic HR Leadership:
      • Develop and implement regional HR strategies in alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
      • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, and retention initiatives.
      • Provide guidance on organizational development and change management.
    2. Employee Relations:
      • Oversee employee relations activities to ensure a positive work environment and address employee concerns promptly.
      • Conduct investigations and provide resolution for HR-related issues.
    3. Talent Management:
      • Work closely with facility administrators to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
      • Implement effective onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
      • Drive employee development and training initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
    4. Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
      • Stay informed about industry-specific regulations affecting the long-term care sector.
      • Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR policies and procedures align with legal requirements.
    5. Benefits Administration:
      • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
    6. Performance Management:
      • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
      • Work with managers to address performance issues and implement improvement plans.
    7. Employee Engagement:
      • Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and morale.
      • Develop and execute initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    8. HR Metrics and Reporting:
      • Compile and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.
      • Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on HR-related KPIs.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
    • Proven experience in human resources leadership roles in the long-term care industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to travel within the designated region.
