- Operate handling equipment to load and unload tubes/product to/from the laser machine
- Monitor machine when operator is not present and ensure its continued operation; load/unload material and check for general acceptable cut condition of completed parts
- Assist operators with loading and packaging laser cut parts into boxes
- Use quality tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers to conduct quality inspection of parts
- Assist in the secondary operations required to complete parts (tapping, cleaning, grinding)
- Follow all health & safety standards
- Experience in the use of standard inspection measuring tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to perform basic math and trigonometry
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk on a varying basis throughout work schedule
- Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read blueprints and Bills of Material

We are seeking 2nd and 3rd Shift Production Assistants for our CTI Fabrication Division in Romeoville, IL
Starting pay for this position is $22.00/hr- $23.00/hr based on experience. We are also offering a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants
JOB DUTIES:
Assist Laser Operators in the efficient processing, delivery and removal of material to and from the laser machines. Specific duties include:
