    Description

    What you will do

    Under minimal supervision perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Maintain and improve facilities. Manage and facilitate the maintenance team, which will consist of hourly and salary positions.

    How you will do it

  • Broadly – Maintain operations of plant and equipment in a state capable of delivering planned production levels with required product quality, in line with maintenance cost targets.
  • Effectively interact with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems in the plant.
  • Responsible for all equipment repairs to include coordination with outside resources as needed.
  • Perform and supervise installation, startup, tear down and trials of all new manufacturing and plant equipment and systems.
  • Monitor repair progress by keeping an indicator of work progress against the plan. Update the progress of each job; initiate corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are safely and appropriately carried out.
  • Comply with all lock out tag out and other safety norms and regulations set by the industry.
  • Provide leadership by effectively guiding the maintenance team to do the right work in the right way.
  • Conduct performance reviews of direct reports. Discipline direct reports as required.
  • Conduct or coordinator any training needs for the maintenance team.
  • Actively build cohesion within the maintenance department, and cross sectionally within the plant.
  • Coordinate with production management to establish short/ mid/ long term priorities and schedule repairs accordingly.
  • Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment, and initiate reordering when necessary in coordination with maintenance planner.
  • Track, evaluate, and drive improvement in department KPIs including; MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and post-PM performance. Support TPM initiatives.
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement by leading business process improvement efforts plant wide.
  • What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Combination of technical education and experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing setting
  • Maintenance experience required on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • PLC, HMI, and E&I experience preferred.
  • Experience with OSHA 14000, 18000 and TS audit standards.
  • Proficient on Popular CMMS solutions like Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance & Prisma
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Experience with MS Project is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.
