    General Purpose:
    The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission the goal is a productive, safe, and compliant work environment in all programs for all services


    Qualifications/ Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
    At least five years of human resource management experience required
    SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred


    General Duties:

    • Oversees the daily workflow of the HR Department
    • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Personnel Policy and Procedure, along with all resignations of the agency
    • Oversees staff grievances and complaints, performing all investigations and documentation
    • Reviews and handles all appeals from all staff
    • Oversees staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring
    • Oversees hiring platforms
    • Oversees hiring process, backgrounds, onboarding
    • Policy and Procedures implementation & enforcement
    • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance including, but not limited to:
    • FMLA
    • COBRA
    • HIPPA
    • Affordable Care Act
    • ADA
    • Oversees maintenance of efficient, confidential Personnel Records
    • Policy and Procedures development, implementation & enforcement
    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date Personnel files, records, and documentation
    • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all staff, Personnel files and records
    • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
    • Handles payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks
    • Is a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers
    • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations
    • Employee wellness, and health
    • Implements and monitors the tracking of OSHA data
    Maintain open lines of communication with All GETCAP Staff, Programs & Administration
    Communicates information to employees in an unbiased, clear manner
    Attends and participates in management team meetings


    • Models' positive open communication with employees
    • Reads all interoffice memorandum and maintains for future reference
    • Communicates and works with All Programs, and Administration in a timely manner
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Work Environment:


    The HR Director performs work in an office environment The setting requires verbal and face-to-face contact with the community, and other staff members.

    The HR Director performs most work during weekday hours, remotely, and flexible hours as needed

    Compensation:
    $55, $65,000.00 per year
