    TechBuy, an AgriLife IT Service center, manages end point provisioning for all Agrilife stakeholders across the State of Texas. We leverage leading edge innovation, both commercially available and developed in-house, to build process efficiency allowing us to meet the demands of our customers.

    We are adding an IT professional II to our team.

    Role Summary:

    This is a full-time, onsite position at our office located on the Texas A&M University Campus in College Station, TX. Compensation offered for the role will be based on the selected candidate's job-related skills, knowledge and experience and will include a comprehensive benefits package. The compensation grade for the position is 67.

    Responsibilities:

    Imaging System Administration
    -Maintains and patches imaging server with critical updates and security patches.

    -Creates, tests, and troubleshoots new image deployment packages.

    -Updates automation scripts.

    Custom Order Processing
    -Liaise with client department and IT staff to determine technology hardware needs.

    -Gather quotes from vendors.

    -Produce proposals.

    Hardware provisioning

    -Tests the provisioning process on new hardware being added to our hardware catalog.

    -Resolves failures of the provisioning process.

    -Assists with resolution of hardware and software problems with vendor technical support.
    -Assists with production control, disaster recovery, networking, computer operations, or other operating systems.

    Other Duties
    -Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Education and Experience:

    -Associate's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    -One year of related experience.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    -One year experience maintaining enterprise imaging systems (WDS, Smart Deploy, Azure / Intune).

    -One year experience web design and maintenance (Wordpress/Woocommerce).

    -One year experience IT solutions architect.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    -Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    -Ability to interpret and write scripts (Powershell, Bash, Python).

    -Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
