    FARO is looking for a

    Director of Business Systems Applications

    to lead our teams that develop and support the applications that drive our business processes. As part of our Digital Office organization, you will provide leadership and operational oversight to multiple teams within our Information Technology function from our office in

    Lake Mary, Florida . This will be considered a

    hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2- 3 days in the office weekly.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    Lead, mentor, and coach a team of technologists within a global organization that develop and support applications driving our business processes.

    Promote career development for managed staff.
    Translate company vision and strategy into department vision and strategy.
    Define strategy and multi-year roadmaps ensuring programs are defined and executed.
    Manage lifecycle of applications, including planning for upgrades and replacements when necessary.
    Gain alignment with senior leadership and key stakeholders
    Ensure adherence to compliance standards.
    Forecast and manage budgets and staffing.
    Anticipate and mitigate obstacles, risks, and business disruptions caused by change initiatives.

    Actively collaborate with other department leaders and business stakeholders to support, develop, and evolve business systems and processes for the current and future needs of the company.

    Implement industry best practices that are right sized for the organization to manage risk, meet business needs, and deliver services and solutions successfully.


    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written, verbal, listening, critical thinking, presentation, and facilitation skills.
    Ability to establish working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    Customer Service oriented

    Effectively influences senior leaders and business leaders on industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and systems; challenge the status quo in support of the technology direction.

    Exceptional management & organizational skills enabling real time prioritization and a strong ability for holding the team accountable to results.

    Demonstrated success in organizational development and change management.
    Proven ability to engage, motivate, and develop direct and indirect reports, including working with outsourced partners
    BA/BS Degree in applicable field
    5+ years' experience in Information Technology management.
    Experience in SAP, SFDC, or similar ERP and CRM systems
