Job DescriptionPOSITION DETAILSPosition will Lead Electrical, Instrument/Control Systems Engineers, Designers and Drafters in support of projects in Petrochemical, Refinery and Midstream business linesEvaluate resources required for project executionPartner and coordinate with other disciplinesCoordinate with Project Controls to ensure alignment with budget and expensesElectrical specification and selection (lighting, transformers, MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, etc.)One-line developmentElectrical system modelling for arc flash, load flow, and relay coordination studiesEnsure that Brown and Root procedures, specifications, standards, technical guidance's and work instructions relative to the E I Department are followedPartner with Discipline Managers and Project Managers to design and execute project plansEnsure compliance with industry code, client and Brown and Root guidelinesEnsure safety in all designRequirementsQUALIFICATIONSB.S., Electrical Engineering is requiredPE is highly preferredExperience utilizing SKM or ETAP5+ years of oil gas and/or chemical plant experienceExperience in leading Electrical/Instrumentation/Control Systems projectsProficient in MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam-orientedMust be physically able to conduct field trips for review of project materials and engage with field personnelMust be able to lift and carry up to (25) lbs.
