    Title

    Logistics Shipping Clerk (Vestry, New York Operations)

    Reports to

    Sr. Logistics Manager

    Overview

    Responsible for domestic and international outbound shipping of merch and non-merch product for all channels of business. Responsible for receiving and proper distribution of inbound product to respective departments.

    Responsibilities
    • Responsible for receiving, transacting, or shipping merchandise, components, or non-merch product
    • Meet productivity goals/measurements set forth by Logistics Manager
    • Create shipping labels and packing orders to ship via FedEx, UPS, and Brinks
    • Accountable for reporting overages/shortages and picking inaccuracies to management and maintaining inventory integrity
    • Assist management with departmental projects and responsibilities
    • Receive and dispatch deliveries
    • Deliver received packages to proper departments
    • Responsible for ensuring accurate packaging and documentation are included for each shipment
    • Responsible for the planning, balancing, and completion of orders including packaging materials, components, and finished goods
    • Responsible for communicating and suggesting improvements to increase the effectiveness of the shipping and receiving process, systems, procedures and recommending improvements and enhancements as required
    • Keep work area organized and clean, keep inventory of proper shipping supplies neat, clean and organized with adequate inventory levels stored appropriately.
    Qualifications
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Able to Multi-task
    • Must be able to work in fast paced environment
    • Must be willing to work overtime when required
    • Basic computer knowledge
    Education

    Education: High School Diploma or higher

    Location

    New York, NY- 5 days in office

    Travel

    Minimal travel may be required.

    Pay Range

    25-26/hour

    Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
