    Job Description

    The Housekeeping Manager will support the Director of Housekeeping in upholding the cleanliness and orderliness of hotel premises, prioritizing the safety and comfort of guests and staff.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping department with a focus on exceptional service standards
    • Address guest concerns promptly, ensuring memorable experiences
    • Optimize revenue by active participation in yield management meetings and implementing Revenue Management strategies
    • Recruit, train, and manage colleagues to meet department objectives
    • Foster a positive work environment for the Housekeeping team
    • Enforce all departmental policies, including safety protocols
    • Monitor inventory levels for guest needs and uphold brand cleanliness standards
    • Participate in enhancing brand standards and service levels
    • Conduct regular room inspections to maintain quality
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and coordinate tasks
    • Manage department budget efficiently
    • Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll, and documentation
    • Ensure cleanliness of all hotel areas
    • Uphold safety and sanitation policies
    • Perform other duties as required
    Qualifications

    Requirements:
    • Prior luxury hotel experience, with Rooms leadership background
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and OPERA PMS
    • Degree in a related field preferred
    • Familiarity with bargaining agreements
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Reliable team player with a focus on guest satisfaction
    Additional Information

    Physical Demands:
    • Continuous standing and walking, occasional lifting up to 30 pounds
    Visa Requirements: Applicants must have valid U.S. work authorization.
