This position is with the Office of Information and Technology (OIT), within U.S.Customs and Border Protection (CBP), with the Field Support Directorate in one of the following locations:
Columbus, Deming, or Lordsburg, New Mexico.
In this Information Technology Specialist position, you will become a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals in providing technology service, implementing projects and deploying systems to reduce downtime, and maintaining operational availability

Such education must demonstrate the skills needed to do the work.For this position, a degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks is qualifying.
