Clinical Audiologist - Arlington, United States - Johns Hopkins University

    Default job background
    Description

The Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is once again expanding and we have two new positions for clinical audiologists. The positions are open for July 1 start date. Qualified individuals should have either a Doctorate or Master's level degree. Candidates must also meet licensing requirements for the State of Virginia. Our team of audiologists works closely with the neurotologists, otologists, pediatric otolaryngologists and general ENT physicians in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery to provide comprehensive hearing healthcare.

The primary location of this position is in our newly acquired office in Arlington, Virginia

Responsibilities at the Arlington location will initially consist of comprehensive diagnostic testing for both pediatric and adult populations and adult hearing aid care. As this is a new location, the roles and responsibilities are anticipated to expand further as the clinic evolves.

This position is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced audiologist or new graduate to further enhance clinical skills and gain exposure to new challenges. Services provided include diagnostic testing for pediatrics and adults, hearing aids and/or other assistive technology, osseo-integrated implants, cochlear implants and vestibular testing. Opportunities exist for continuing education and involvement in Otolaryngology department projects and research. The salary and benefit package will be based on experience.

    • Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD)
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
