Job DescriptionManage and supervise construction project life cycle - including execution of design, pre-construction, construction, QAQC, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for mechanical systems which could include clean room systems, HVAC systems, air abatement systems, process water systems.
Oversee the process to determine design criteria, lead scope definition, and develop design concepts with the mechanical engineering team.Collaborate with contracted design firms, scheduling teams, construction teams, and estimating teams in support of construction project requirements.
Ensure that costs are captured and project budgets are met by working with project controls team.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including internal customers, operations teams, and other discipline Project Managers, to incorporate stakeholder needs into the design and throughout the project life cycle.
Conduct engineering analysis for multiple scenarios, including high-level schedule and budget development, to help customers and stakeholders make crucial business decisions based on time and cost constraints.
Manage change control and approvals for your specific mechanical scope.Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in a facilities engineering or project engineering role and design, construction, or operational experience with design/construction of clean room systems, heavy HVAC systems, air abatement systems or heavy process water systems.
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related fied, prefered yet not required3+ years managing a team or project
System commissioning experience
Work experience in clean room environments or semiconductor projects
Familiarity with P&IDs, 1-line diagrams, construction drawings, AutoCAD
Preferred, not required:
Familiarity with BIM (Revit/Navisworks)
Preferred, not required:
Professional Engineer certification
