Yes Job Type Full-Time Working Hours Position Summary Roosevelt University Financial Aid Services is seeking an Assistant Director, Financial Aid Systems within the Office of Financial Aid Services. The office of Financial Aid Services administers financial aid to both RU's undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. Position duties include assisting with monitoring routine system operations, participating in new functionality testing, preparation of ad hoc reports, development of process documentation, and other duties as assigned. The position must maintain an in-depth knowledge of all financial aid systems. Additionally, this position serves as the point person of the University's instance of CampusLogic. This position will also be responsible for the processing of all Illinois Student Assistance Commission Programs

    Modality : Remote or Hybrid: If hybrid, the Assistant Director would be on campus 3 days per week .

    This is a full-time, at-will, exempt position that reports to the Director of Financial Aid. The position is hybrid, with a 3 day per week on-campus requirement.
    The salary range for this position is $60,000-65,000 based on commensurate experience.

  • Experience with Ellucian's Banner systems
  • Experience with SQL Developer or SQL Navigator
  • Understanding of data, data definitions, data classifications, and sensitivity of data
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to self-prioritize and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Able to produce clear and concise reports with accurate data and financial information and enter large amounts of data with high accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service skills and experience working with a range of different stakeholders
  • Able to work independently but also thrive in a team environment, collaborating across the university
  • Programming and data integration experience are highly desired
  • Experience providing administrative or programmatic support
  • Knowledge of account creation, data entry, and utilization of data processing and software systems
  • Ability to coordinate the logical flow of software applications with business processes and a working knowledge of data management and reporting tools

  • Preferred Qualifications Equipment Operated Office equipment (desktop computer, laptop, office copier/printer Working Conditions Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds of weight or pressure). Regular use of desktop computer is required, calling for frequent hand/wrist movement and repetition. Moderate level of stress. Occasional travel within the local or regional setting may be required. Priority Application Instructions Departmental Contact Information Essential Job Functions Duty and Responsibility System Management:

  • Assist in the maintenance of the Banner financial aid modules and all 3rd party interfaces.
  • Assist with system enhancement requests including information gathering and implementation of technical solutions.
  • Monitor defects and solutions postings on the Ellucian website. Work with Information Technology and Banner action line to resolve problems
  • Serve as the primary administrator of the Campus Logic software, advising on implementation, management, and maintenance (including documentation and training) of the software while also ensuring any crosswalk is programmed correctly into the Banner Financial Aid Module.
  • Facilitate the flow of information and data to and from Campus Logic.
