Community Medical Services (CMS) is seeking a dedicated Nurse to manage specimen processing and deliver outpatient medication and treatment services for individuals dealing with opioid use disorder.
Under the guidance of the Nursing Manager, Director of Nursing, and Clinic Manager, the Nurse will be responsible for dispensing medication to clients, aiding medical professionals, performing necessary tests, overseeing medication inventory and audits, and contributing to the general functioning of the clinic.

Responsibilities:
We're searching for an individual who:
Is enthusiastic about working in an outpatient environment similar to a medical practice.
Has proficiency in diagnostic testing and sample collection.
Enjoys engaging in conversations—you won't be physically moving patients in this role, but you will be communicating with them throughout the day.
To excel in this position, you should be capable of:Administering medications as per directives from a CMS medical provider
Adhering to all medical provider instructions
Monitoring behavioral patterns, medical symptoms, physical symptoms related to dosage, and other symptoms associated with licit and illicit drug use, as well as mental health issues
Collecting vital signs, blood specimens, and urine samples
Performing on-site urine drug screenings in line with company policy
Preparing take-home medication (not applicable in Montana)
Supervising medication administration meticulously to prevent misuse
Reporting any misuse to the appropriate internal authorities
Maintaining precise client records in the company's EHR system
Recording medication errors and addressing adverse medical reactions following company guidelines
Coordinating temporary dosing for incoming and outgoing clients
Transporting medications to external facilities
Procuring essential dosing room and nursing-related supplies
Procuring necessary medications (not applicable in Montana)
Maintaining accurate medication inventory records
Complying with all federal, state, local, and accrediting body regulations
Administering CPR when required
Engaging in continuing education and relevant job-related training
Complying with and enforcing company protocols and procedures
Must be adept at collecting and processing phlebotomy/venipuncture and capillary testing as prescribed by the provider.
Qualifications:
Licensed LPN or RN in the employment state
CPR Certification Mandatory
Ability to commute to designated CMS sites
Experience in the realm of substance use disorders is beneficial, but not mandatory
Familiarity with signs of intoxication and opioid withdrawal symptoms
Displays precision in medication administration and the ability to maintain accurate client records
