    We are searching for a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner

    Hours: Full-time 7a - 7 p / 8a - 7 p

    Shift: Day

    Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

    **Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

    • Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Office Manager, or designee, conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
    • Perform initial histories, physicals, consultations and follow-up care visits which may require laboratory testing, radiology testing, and/or immunizations.
    • Formulate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and establish appropriate/ timely treatment plans.
    • Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
    • Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A. approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
    • Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License is required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical practice required.
    • Hospital Inpatient Adult Medicine experience preferred
    • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
