    The Senior Staffing Coordinator role offers an exciting opportunity to work within The Hartford's Recruiting & Talent Mobility organization. This position works as a member of a fast-paced, high-energy and highly visible team. The staffing coordinator must be an excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with both employees and external applicants.

    This position is located in Hartford, CT and is hybrid. This role will have a hybrid work arrangement and will be required to work in the Hartford CT office 3 days a week.

    The major areas of support include, but are not limited to:

    • Uses appropriate tools and templates to flawlessly schedule candidate interviews, make required travel arrangements, process complex job offer correspondences, schedule conference rooms and communicate to recruiters, candidates and hiring managers.
    • Provides timely and customer-focused service to internal and external constituents (e.g., recruiters, candidates and interviewers).
    • Manages, triages, and responds to Human Resources email and voicemail messages from internal employees, external applicants, and customers.
    • Identifies and escalates improvement suggestions to internal talent management processes and tools.
    • Participates in projects or practice areas within Recruiting & Talent Mobility or Human Resources.
    • Develops Workday Recruiting Subject Matter Expertise.
    • Identifies and shares better ways to use technology to perform work tasks and leads initiatives in process improvement.
    Qualifications
    • 2+ years of related work experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to be able to perform the role
    • Experience in a recruiting firm/department a plus
    • Strong Outlook calendaring and scheduling required
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
    • Familiarity with database and the Workday recruiting applicant tracking system desired
    • Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible, and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize work and shift tasks based on urgency with little direct supervision
    • Strong multi-tasking ability as well as demonstrated proficiency in planning, follow-through, scheduling, time management and organizational skills
    • Proven problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
    • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, turnaround times, and streamline work processes
    • Ability to efficiently allocate cognitive resources to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks, no matter how small or large
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong team player with a focus on providing a positive experience to both internal and external partners
    Compensation

    The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

    $52,960 - $79,440
