    We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisorto join our origination team based in Bethpage, NY

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Delegating responsibilities and supervising AMC Networks Broadcast and Technology master control operations.
    • Resolving issues and maintaining a high level of on-air performance.
    • Generate effective training onboarding process.
    • Track daily discrepancy reports through File Maker and report any trends or engineering issues to his direct reports.
    • Excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to comprehend and communicate engineering and technical challenges.
    • Assist in the development operations documentation ensuring all processes and procedures are detailed to integrate any new systems, components, or broadcast requirements.
    • Work with management to ensure consistent processes, procedures and protocols are applied across all locations to facilitate a common operating environment for all staff members.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Work weekends, nights and holidays.

    QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

    • Bachelor's degree in operations management or 15 years of Broadcast Operations experience.
    • Computer skills, including Evertz and Imagine Automation Systems, File Maker, and ADP.
    • Strong written and verbal skills.
    • Ability to make quick and informed decisions during times of uncertainty and last-minute requests.
    • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $96,000 commensurate with experience. AMC Networks additionally offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Services, among other benefit plan options, subject to eligibility requirements.
