    Description

    Join Our Team as a Heavy-Duty Truck Operator!

    I. Overview

    Operate a heavy-duty truck safely to complete assigned tasks on transfer routes.

    II. Key Responsibilities

    • Follow OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
    • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
    • Report any safety concerns to management before proceeding.
    • Participate in training sessions and meetings as necessary.
    • Collaborate with Route Managers to enhance route efficiency.
    • Assist other drivers as instructed.
    • Inform management of any incidents or issues promptly.
    • Communicate customer requests to Dispatch.
    • Ensure customer locations are clean after service.
    • Position containers appropriately on the customer's property.
    • Complete all necessary documentation at the end of the route.

    III. Supervision

    This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

    IV. Requirements

    A. Education and Experience

    • No specific educational requirements.
    • No prior work experience needed.

    B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Requirements

    • Must have a Commercial Driver's License B (CDL).
    • Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to CDL requirements.
    • Pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.
    • Valid and acceptable driving record.
