    Schedule:
    Full Time Night Shift , 3'12s, 7p.m. to 7a.m., One Weekend every Six Weeks

    Vincent's Birmingham - Downtown

    This is a private 17-bed unit (12 ICU beds and 5 open heart recovery beds) that specializes in cardiac care for patients who have had cardiothoracic surgery.

    CABG (Coronary artery bypass grafting), MVR (Mitral valve repair/replacement, AVR (aortic valve replacement), Thoracotomies, carotids and femoral popliteal bypass.     Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
    Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
    Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
    Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
    Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

    Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
