Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our team at our 99-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Redwood City, CA. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall nursing care and operations of our facility, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving excellence in nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Oversee nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care
Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in nursing practice
Requirements:
Current RN license in CA
BSN or MSN degree required; MBA or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing leadership, including experience as a DON or ADON
Proven track record of success in leading nursing teams and driving quality improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive salary: $170k and up depending on experience
