Position Summary

Summer positions available within the Facility Services Department. These positions are available immediately and run through August 20th. Individuals will work - 8hrs days. (7am-3:30pm) Must be available for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday schedule or a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday schedule.

These positions may work within all areas of Facility Services based on the needs of the department.

The individuals selected will focus on building turnover and predominantly assist with furniture moves for cleaning and other custodial items, but may be used in the other areas as needed.

Essential Functions

Custodial- Requires general housekeeping and cleaning of classrooms, labs & restrooms; operation of various types of scrubbing, buffing and floor care equipment.

May frequently be required to assist with moving furniture.

Grounds- Perform grounds keeping, and utility tasks of various types to care for and maintain all college grounds, buildings, and related facilities.

Should be able to operate grounds keeping equipment.

Maintenance - Performs general maintenance including painting and utility tasks of various types to care for and maintain all college buildings, and related facilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Position requires bending, stooping, walking and grasping. Frequently lifting or pushing 50 pounds.
