- Reporting to Charge Nurse any accident or change of condition of resident and documenting on progress notes in the chart;
- Discussing clinical issues regarding resident care with Charge Nurse;
- Working as a member of the interdisciplinary team to assist with the preparation, implementation and continuing evaluation of the care plan;
- Observing, recording and reporting progress or any change in resident's condition;
- Updating the care plan as needed;
- Carrying out therapeutic treatments;
- Administering and dispensing medications (with the exception of IV) to residents, observing for side effects and effectiveness;
- Securing/accounting for controlled drugs;
- Maintaining nursing care and administrative records and reports;
