    Lifeguard and Aquatic Instructor Position at the YMCA

    • Ensure safety and vigilance in aquatics areas
    • Prevent incidents related to aquatic programming
    • Administer first aid and emergency procedures
    • Enhance water safety skills of participants
    • Deliver engaging and informative instructions
    • Organize lesson plans and administrative tasks efficiently
    • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere
    • Provide exceptional customer service
    • Adapt to operational needs for program success

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
    • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and O2 within 60 days
    • Customer-facing experience preferred
    • Ability to complete a pre-work swim test

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
