    Join Our Team as an Assistant Community Manager

    About Bell Partners: As a prominent player in the multi-family housing sector, we are dedicated to being the preferred choice for apartment living, prioritizing value creation and upholding our commitments to residents, partners, and team members.

    The Assistant Community Manager plays a key role in overseeing community leasing operations and processes. This position involves motivating staff to deliver exceptional service, ensuring high resident satisfaction, and stepping up to lead the community in the absence of the Community Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Community Manager in managing the leasing team and providing training support,
    • Support Leasing Consultants in the leasing process while adhering to Fair Housing guidelines, screening applications, and leasing apartments if needed,
    • Handle rent collections, banking tasks, and oversee community accounting procedures,
    • Regularly meet with Community Manager and Regional Manager to review community performance,
    • Conduct monthly market surveys and propose pricing adjustments,
    • Maintain resident lease files, update computer records, and generate reports,
    • Manage move-out notices, handle delinquencies, and coordinate collections efforts,
    • Address resident inquiries and collaborate with the leadership team on issue resolution,
    • Perform assigned administrative tasks under the direction of the Community Manager.

    Requirements and Skills:

    • Preferred BA/BS degree or relevant experience,
    • At least 1 year of property management or leasing experience is desirable,
    • Prior background in bookkeeping or collections is a plus,
    • Strong interpersonal, time management, and multitasking abilities are essential,
    • Alignment with Bell Core Values and BAL strategic drivers,

    • Effective oral and written communication skills,
    • Professionalism, resourcefulness, and organizational proficiency.
