    Description
    As an

    Azure Cloud engineer

    you would be

    responsible for implementing

    cloud-based solutions and architectures using Microsoft Azure services.

    This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, their capabilities, and how to seamlessly integrate them to create scalable and reliable solutions.

    The mid-level Azure engineer is also responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring optimal performance and optimization of Azure environments.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure and applications.
    Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Azure services into their applications.
    Monitor and troubleshoot Azure services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    Manage Azure resources, including storage, databases, and virtual machines.
    Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends.
    Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
    Work as part of a team to continuously improve Azure infrastructure and operations.
    Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

    Location and Travel Details

    This is a hybrid position, with 1-2 days onsite a week at one of the following locations:
    Ft. Belvoir, VA
    Adelphi, MD
    Aberdeen, MD

    Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

    Must possess an active Secret Clearance and maintain a Secret Clearance.

    Profile of Success

    CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
    Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Web Apps, and Azure Active Directory.
    Experience with Azure Networking, Load Balancing, and Azure Virtual Networks.
    Experience with Azure Automation and Azure Functions.
    Experience with Azure Cloud Services, Azure App Service, and Azure Container Service.
    Strong understanding of Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    Desirable Skills

    Azure certification
    Knowledge of Azure networking technologies such as Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, and Azure Load Balancer.
    Extensive experience with Azure Monitor and Azure Monitor Logs.
    Extensive experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD B2C.
    Knowledge of Azure security best practices.
    Knowledge of using vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable
    Experience in using Endpoint Protection tool
    Assistance with ATO efforts
    Azure Automation
