    Description

    As Head Teller, you'll provide leadership on the Teller line by troubleshooting questions, giving guidance, delivering on-the-spot and structured coaching, and ensuring operational excellence, while providing a WOW experience to our members. As part of the branch leadership team, you'll get to grow and demonstrate your operational expertise and leadership ability in this dynamic role.     As a Head Teller with Community First, you will:

    • Provide exceptional, WOW service to internal and external members
    • Perform Teller function, as required, during peak hours with accurate and professional delivery of service and balancing of assigned cash drawer
    • Answer member questions regarding products and services and assist with problem resolution
    • Identify non-negotiable/fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit union
    • Assist staff with balancing cash drawers and posting errors
    • Provide guidance and training to Tellers on operating procedures, monitor regulatory and compliance changes
    • Schedule to ensure the teller line is adequately staffed according to volume demands to provide WOW member service
    • Conduct regular huddles with key updates, new policies and procedures, and key goals for the branch
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policy
    We are looking for a combination of:
    • Associate's Degree in banking, finance, business management, or another related field
    • Three or more years of Teller and/or financial services experience, including prior supervisory experience
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, and organizational skills
    • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite and web-based software packages
    • The ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun
    • Passion for providing outstanding service to our members - internal and external
