    This role is for 3 days per week in the office at 8 hours per day. Applicants must be located in or near NYC

    About The Role

    Thesis is seeking a dynamic Office Manager who is eager to make a significant impact on our business and team. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills and the ability to build strong relationships and culture. You'll own day-to-day office operations, from ordering snacks to managing vendors, as well as plan events that bring our team together and live our value to "Create Exceptional Experiences". This role is pivotal in crafting experiences that encourage collaboration and enhance our sense of community within the workplace.

    How You'll Make an Impact:
    • Office Management: Take charge of office operations, including ordering snacks and supplies, managing vendors, coordinating key card access, receiving and distributing packages, and maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
    • Event Planning: Plan and organize company events, both onsite and outside of the office. Coordinate logistics, manage vendor relationships, and ensure a seamless execution to create memorable experiences for employees.
    • Supplies and Equipment: Manage office supplies, furniture, and equipment within budget.
    • Technology Management: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to office equipment. Manage provisioning of all team laptops and systems. Coordinate and set up IT helpdesk in collaboration with our Tech team.
    • Onboarding/Offboarding Employees: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and setting up necessary accounts. Support offboarding procedures and ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.
    • Communications Management: Handle internal and external communications, acting as the voice of the company when needed. Welcome all external guests to the office.
    • Calendar Management: Oversee calendar management for various team and company activities including but not limited to interview and onboarding scheduling, meetings, etc.
    • Adhoc People Operations Projects: Provide support on various HR and talent projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
    • Culture Champion: You will live and breathe the Thesis culture, embody our values, and act as a positive role model for the broader team.
    We're Excited About Your:
    • 1-3 years of experience in a similar office manager or administrative role
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
    • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
    • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships both internally and externally
    • Passion for Thesis's mission and the health and wellness space
    Pay Transparency:

    We can't quantify everything we think you'll love about working at Thesis, from the exciting projects you'll work on, to the smart and humble team you'll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and equity. The base salary hiring range for this position is $30/hr but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
